Terms of use

By using Dilemmate you agree to these terms. They're short; please read them. How we handle your data is in our privacy policy.

What Dilemmate is

Dilemmate is a game: daily dilemmas, a personality type built from 20 of them, and ways to compare with friends and the world. It's for fun and reflection. It is not a psychological, medical or professional assessment, and types and compatibility scores shouldn't be used to make decisions about anyone's health, job, relationships or rights.

Who can use it

You need to be at least 13, or older if the law where you live requires it for using online services on your own. It's free, and you don't need an account.

Playing fair

Please don't:

  • use a nickname or group name that is hateful, harassing, sexual, impersonates someone, or shares someone's personal information;
  • use bots, scripts or many accounts to answer, vote, or inflate scores and statistics;
  • try to access other people's data, or to break, overload or scrape the site;
  • use the site for anything illegal.

We may remove nicknames or groups, limit access, or delete data that breaks these rules.

Your answers and our content

Your answers are yours. You let us store and use them to run the site, including in anonymous totals such as how a country or a type splits on a dilemma. The dilemmas, types, descriptions, designs and the rest of the site are ours; you're welcome to share your results and link to any page.

Reminders and sign-in

Daily reminders and sign-in are optional. You can turn reminders off and sign out at any time on your page.

No guarantees

We work to keep Dilemmate running and your data safe, but the site is provided as it is, without guarantees that it will always be available, error-free or accurate. We may change, pause or end features, or the whole site. If we close it, we'll give notice on the site where we reasonably can.

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the site. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and, for important changes, say so on the site. Continuing to use Dilemmate after that means you accept the new terms.
